Outstanding Charger — Fast, Smart, and Built Like a Tank!

The Techtron EV7 and EV7+ chargers have genuinely transformed my home charging setup. The power output (7 kW–7.4 kW–7.6 kW at 32A) delivers fast and consistent charging every single time, making them perfect whether the car is nearly empty or just topping up. Both chargers work flawlessly with all my EVs, and the universal Type 2 connector is solid and reliable.

The build quality is exceptional. The IP54-rated control box and IP67-rated gun head make the whole unit feel robust, weatherproof, and ready for years of use. The combination of reinforced PC940 plastic, galvanised steel, and the premium tempered glass screen gives it a tough, high-end feel you don’t get with cheaper units.

I’m a big fan of the smart features too. The Techtron app is easy to use — I can adjust current levels, schedule off-peak charging, and monitor everything in real time. The EV7+ takes it even further with Bluetooth 5.3, dual-band WiFi, and 4G connectivity, which makes tracking and controlling charging incredibly convenient.

Safety-wise, it’s fully loaded. Overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, overheating, leakage protection, PEN fault protection, RCD, plus the emergency stop button — everything you’d want for complete peace of mind. The RFID access is a great touch too, especially to prevent unauthorized use.

The 4.3-inch LCD screen is crisp and easy to read, showing all the essential info like charging speed, power consumption, and system status at a glance. The wall-mounted design is sleek, compact, and looks great in any setting.

Superb bit of kit. App is really good - so can charge at night when electric is cheapest. Unit looks really nice too, very happy with the customer service team they are so helpful. Just really happy no issues at all
