Selected techtron® NEXUS EVP3+ THERMO-GUARD™ models introduce an additional layer of intelligent charging protection, designed to monitor critical conditions at the mains connection while charging is in progress. By combining active NTC plug-temperature monitoring with integrated 6mA DC leakage protection, THERMO-GUARD™ adds extra reassurance where it matters most, helping NEXUS respond automatically if abnormal conditions are detected.
- Active Temperature Monitoring: An integrated NTC thermal sensor continuously monitors operating temperature at the mains plug during charging.
- Automatic Thermal Intervention: If abnormal temperature rise is detected, charging is automatically interrupted to help protect the charging connection.
- 6mA DC Leakage Protection: Integrated residual DC monitoring detects abnormal DC fault current during charging.
- Automatic Fault Response: Charging is interrupted if abnormal DC leakage is detected, adding another intelligent layer of protection.
- Enhanced Protection Choice: THERMO-GUARD™ gives customers the option to step up from the already comprehensive protection built into standard NEXUS models.
- Integrated by Design: The additional protection is built directly into selected NEXUS variants, with no separate accessories or external protection modules to manage.
