Every OZEV grant application requires an OZEV-authorised installer. Using an unapproved electrician — however qualified — will invalidate your grant claim and may leave you liable for the full installation cost.

What Is an OZEV-Authorised Installer?
- Holds a recognised electrical qualification (NICEIC, NAPIT, or ELECSA registered)

- Authorised to submit grant claims on behalf of customers via the OZEV process
- Carries appropriate public liability and professional indemnity insurance
